Most major browsers offer a private browsing mode of some sort. Using your browser’s private browsing mode is an easy way to start browsing with a fresh cache. In addition, anything that gets cached during your private browsing session will be cleared when you close the browser window.
Chrome
- Click the “Customize and control Google Chrome” button
- Click “New incognito window”
Firefox
- Click the “Open menu” button in the top right of the browser
- Click the “New Private Window” button
Safari
- Click “File”
- Click “New Private Window”
Internet Explorer
- Click the “Tools” button in the top right of the browser
- Hover over the “Safety” menu item
- Click “In Private Browsing”
